It's April and hockey season has now officially ended for the season.
It is amazing how much better the kids got since the beginning of the
season. Colton continued to smile more than he scored (but hey that's
what it is about right!). He has gotten much better at actually paying
attention to the puck rather than skating by the stands and waving to
his fans. His coaches were awesome and we couldn't have wished for a
better group of kids and parents to share the experience with. Here is a
look at his trophy that he slept with that night!

April Showers?
The old saying April showers brings May flowers...well we didn't get
much rain in April...lots of sun actually! This meant we could go bike
riding after school a lot, where I had this brilliant idea of taking
them to a tennis court and trapping them into one area so I didn't have
to run after them the whole time, they got nice and tired from doing so
many races and laps. Here are some pictures of how we spent most of
April.
Beeze and his cool shark helmet!
Colton got his first real set of golf clubs!
"Yo - one of my uncles - I am ready to hit the pinehills with you"
This picture is from this really cool playground a few towns over from us, the boys are clearly too old for this toy, but it didn't stop them from hopping on it while we were leaving the park.
I took the video below to show them how silly they looked rocking the butterfly. HAHA.

Easter 2012
This Easter my brother had us down to his house, egg hunt and all. They had an entire day of running around, playing with their cousins, eating junk. Sounds like a perfect Easter to me!
This was Riley's letter to the Easter Bunny...hysterical!
OK - I was over come with Pinterest fever.
These are my easter egg hunt cookies (mini cadbury eggs inside).
Look better than they taste.
Cadbury cream egg cookies (another Pinterest recipe).
I felt quite Martha Stewart (done for the year now).
Nick and I went to bed the night before Easter and these were on our nightstands.
Colton used a full roll of scotch tape on these special "mommy & daddy" decorations.
(kid loves taping crap...ahem...I mean stuff)
