Sesame Place

Wow this is a big bird!!!

Brayden swimming with Ernie

You are 4...ahh hah hah hah hah

The Count was the first character Colton met...a little unsure of what to think.

Grover is their favorite so this was a special moment!

We just got back from Sesame Street. It is like a water and amusement park for toddlers. To sum up the experience best here are some clips and pictures. Colton went down the water slides solo...so glad he could go alone because he went down a couple hundred times!!! The kids loved it and we promised Elmo we would come back next year.

Check out Colton on the water slide!

Time for the Rockin Parade...a peek at the dance moves.
They are just warming up here!!!

Ice cream

The town of Weymouth has these summer concerts and movie nights for kids every Thursday throughout the summer. Heidi and I took the kids to the Wayne from Maine concert a week or two ago. We had a nice picnic then the kids let loose with the dance moves. Riley takes music very seriously so you can imagine his disappointment when Colton won the dance contest. He told me Colton won because he was the smallest one out there...which was true...Colton was the youngest by about two years out there in the toddler mosh-pit. It was hysterical. We reassured Riley that Colton only has these moves because his big cousin has taught him well. I need to post a picture of them doing the worm...it is priceless. Anyways Colton won a tape cassette of Wayne from Maine and we do not have a cassette player...does anyone? Colton didn't care because he was just excited to get a prize. Wayne from Maine said the cassettes are real popular in Maine still and he understood that kids from Massachusetts may not know what a tape cassette is. Luckily Phil, Heidi's husband, has a tape reader that burns them into cds.

The picture is of Riley and Colton enjoying the spiderman ice cream cones from the ice cream truck after the concert. It was a messy experience but one they will remember.
