Leighton's Christening

Here she is all done up in the Rosa family christening gown...Alicia wore this!

This is her party outfit Nana bought her...oh I love the girl clothes!

The whole clan

The Godparents

This one is from Easter but I had to include it.

Another Easter shot that I had to share!

Here are a few pictures of Miss Leighton and the family at her super special baptism. Her godparents are Zachary and Alicia's sister Tina. We had a fantastic day, the kids even had fun at church since it was the childrens mass and there was an easter egg hunt afterward (the priest informed us Easter isn't officially over I guess). The reception was at Cafe Brasil where the food was so good and the mojitos weren't bad either. ;) Leighton was absolutely beautiful and she is so loved and we are so blessed to have such a wonder family.

Waterfront walks

Saturday we started our morning with a beautiful walk with the dogs (Buddy & Aspen) down at Worlds End in Hingham. This is an amazing trustees reservation along the water with groomed trails for walking, running and equestrians. We had to have gone at least 4-5 miles and Colton and the dogs were exhausted! That afternoon Colton and I headed down to Plymouth to visit my mome who is in the hospital with pneomnia. Then Alicia and I took Colton and Leighton out for a good 4 hour walk along Plymouths waterfront. We took a few pit stops to climb a tree, hit a playground and maybe a bite to eat and drink at Sam Diegos. It was a perfect spring day!

Basketball

Yesterday we let the kids shoot some hoops after racquetball. Riley can actually score a few points now! Colton is getting pretty good at dribbling and Brayden likes to roll on the basketball like it is an amusement park ride.

Swinging and swinging some more...

Our library has the best tire swing...not like those old school ones that actually was a tire. This sucker fits a few kids and adults (Heidi may have hopped on there for a few spins). I get dizzy just watching but clearly this is a kids dream swing come true. We use to love these things as kids and would get them spinning pretty good so I shouldn't be surprised that the kids love it so much...being a Mom though it does make me a little nervous that they will get hurt...oh man I am getting old! Swing you little hearts out kids. ;)

Ice skating lessons are over...

Colton and Riley finished their first official skating lessons! They were both really excited to get these little badges. Since they both completed the level 3 class they have been given the green light to sign up for hockey, you have no idea how excited they are to be just a little bit closer to being a "Bruin". :)

Racquetball

Since I got my new racquetball gear for my birthday back in March, Heidi and I have been playing 3-4 days a week and are addicted. We let Colton join us the other day and I think he has pro written all over him. Uncle Wally will soon have a partner to play against!

Super Hero & Pirate Party

Here is a look at the boys all done up for the Superhero/Pirates party at Colton's school. Riley wanted to be Jack Sparrow so he could wear a mustache. Brayden was batman but the costume didn't last long...I guess he opted to be Bruce Wayne instead. C-man was Superman. They had a lot of fun doing the treasure hunt, there was a dj, all sorts of stuff going on for the kids and Jack Sparrow, Spiderman and Batman kept the kids busy for the entire 2 hours...wow! Nick and I had a really nice afternoon with our little superheros. :)
