Thanksgiving 2010

Here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania with Nicks family. It was lots of fun as usual and Grandma was out of the hospital which was a relief (however since I wrote this she is back in...so prayers please!). On Saturday there was a baptism for Gracie and she looked absolutely beautiful. Nick's whole family was there and his cousin Scottie's kids Zach and Hilary and his girlfriend Nicki and her daughter Amanda was there so Colton and Aiden had lots of other kids to play with this year...so fun! The only minor crisis during our stay was when Colton used my head as a race track for his Zuzu pet. Those suckers keep moving and making noise and there is literally no way to get them out other that taking your hair and scalp with it! I lost the fight...damn Zuzu.
Anytime you can get a great grandma to wear a dancing turkey hat...you take a picture!

You can't really see it but it was snowing!
Yes, it was a white Thanksgiving in PA!

Colton with Zach...he followed Zach everywhere!!!

Little bastard

Colton's favorite, pineapple with ham, hold the onion...lol!

Gracie with her godparents

Gracie and her mommy

My favorite shot of the whole weekend.

I mean solid moves...dontcha think?

Plymouth's Thanksgiving Parade

This year we watched the Thanksgiving parade from the windows of Wally's office which is right downtown. The parade was no joke about two hours long so being inside with heat, a bathroom, comfy seats and most importantly endless mimosas and spiked coffee really made the parade a top ten parade for me! Lisa came with Colton and I down to Plymouth and after the parade we all walked down to the Chowder Fest where there were kids crafts and lots of good chowdas to sample. I am almost positive that Colton ate more than I did. To top the night off, when we got home Colton was already sleeping for the night, Donna had taken the commuter rail to my house and her and Lisa and I went out for a few drinks and dinner. We hit the new Boston Beer Works in Hingham Shipyard and then we got a late night glass of wine next door at the Wahlberg's restaurant Alma Nove. Yeah we can still hang.

All dressed up and nowhere to go

Colton was looking all dapper the other day because he had his school pictures. When I got to Heidi's after work to pick him up I commented on how handsome he looked and he said "yeah mom you should take me to our date place". What a little playa. So usually our date place means the salad bar at Whole Foods (he is obsessed with their soup and edamame). We switched it up though and hit our other favorite date spot, Paneras, and Bryaden wanted a date night too so he joined us. Here they are enjoying their soups!

Time to rake the leaves

Fall in New England brings lots of leaves to rake. Brayden and Riley were over this weekend and they joined Nick and Colton in cleaning up the yard. It was hard work but nothing is better than making big piles of leaves and then jumping in them. Nick showed Riley how to use the leave blower/vacuum and he earned a little cash to buy something special at Target (umm...he bought a Hawaiian nutcracker guy...says it looks like the Polynesian guys from Disney...how cute is he). Unfortunately, it has been a really windy though and there are at least the same amount of leaves back on the ground, guess I will have to put them back to work again this weekend. ;)

Leighton's First Birthday

Look at who turned one! Leighton had a dress up Halloween Party that we unfortunately missed because of our wedding in PA. However, I did see pictures of the cute little ladybug and Uncle Zach, aka Captain America, and Uncle Phil aka Tigger. Hysterical and it sounds like her first party was a success. For her actual birthday dinner, family just went over to Wally and Alicia's and we had cake followed by presents. She really enjoyed the chocolate lady bug cake Auntie Heidi baked...so did I!

Let me at it...

Hey, I was enjoying that...

Bring it back!!!

Sporting the party hat and loving it.
