Canobie Lake

A weekend with no sports - did you hear me?  A weekend with no sports!  Finally took Colton and the boys to Canobie Lake to get the amusement park thing out of our systems.

Buddy and Beeze

Fairly certain that Brayden (Beeze) is one of Buddy's best friends.  A sleepover wouldn't be complete without a nice walk through Great Esker.

B to the U to the double D and Y

Buddy is the ripe old age of 12 now.  Check out the gray.  He has slowed down but is much more active and doing great since losing that digit (got a toe removed this past year).  Nothing stops him from smiling.  Cuteness overload.  I have been taking him for long walks at least once a week hoping it won't kill his hips or cause injury, he seems to enjoy it and is a great listener.  Doggie therapy.

First Day of Junior High

It was almost impossible to get a picture of Colton and his buddies at the bus stop today.  How is this my 7th grader?  I am fairly certain he just turned 5 and started kindergarten about two years ago...guess time really is flying!
Don't let the smile fool you, he was not amused with my picture taking!

Colton, Matthew, James, Nick and the girls Alexis and Kayla
EVERYONE was annoyed with me

Twas the Night Before Junior High...

Tuesday is pizza night at the Venetian...we talked for hours and it made me wonder when he turned into this little adult.  On to Junior High tomorrow at Chapman.  Someday I am really going to miss our Tuesday nights.

By request, Colton asked that I include this picture of my using a knife and fork to cut my pizza...he thinks it is a sin.  I hate how he folds his pizza in half every time, such a heated debate.

A date with my baby

How would you describe a great date with a 12 year old?  Ice cream for lunch, a quick back to school shopping spree and a movie in an icy cold theatre on a 100 degree day.  Colton was even into seeing the same chick flick that I wanted to watch, Crazy Rich Asians.  It was a super cute romantic comedy.  The movie theatre was filled with at least 80 old ladies with canes or walkers, two other men (both over the age of 70) and me and Colty.  A great way to end the summer.

Summer Ain't Over...

Spent the last few days soaking in the sun and spending time with our favorites.
