Thank god for camp. We signed the boys up for camp for the entire summer back in May. No brainer here people...Colton and Riley love it, they play outside all day long, are exhausted at the end of the day and it is way cheaper than daycare (win-win if you ask me). Every morning they wake up and ask "is it camp today" and I say "yes" there is a lot of fist pumping and "YES"ing going on. They pretty much are doing the same camp all summer, Wey-Fun, get it for Weymouth, but a week here and there we switched it up with something else. Weymouth has an awesome recreation program with so many options for kids, it is crazy not to take advantage of it. They basically play sports all day: basketball, volleyball, foursquare, go to the beach, do crafts, play games, when it rains they watch movies and bake...I swear the fun never stops (sign me up). I love picking them up and hearing their stories. I know that Jack is their favorite all time staff, Lisa is the prettiest girl (she is in the blue group and is 11yrs old by the way), the bathrooms smell and they will hold it until they get home if possible and that on Thursday's they have BBQ's and Colton likes the hot dogs and Riley likes the cheeseburgers. They have made me two beaded bracelets that I have even gotten compliments on (you have to wear these things to show the love...and I like them). The first week of camp Riley lied and told everyone he had sunblock on...he got a nice sunburn...apparently he "wanted to be tan like Colton". Our little red head wants a tan?!?! Hysterical. Believe it or not, he actually sort of has one now, his eyebrows are yellow and he sort of is getting blond hint to the red, cutest little fireball I know. He didn't like the burn though and wears his block and hat everyday now, just like his buddy Colton (it perplexes him that Colton gets tan with the same sunblock on). At the end of every week they give out awards...this week Colton won Athlete of the Week. They don't have an award for it but he has also been unanimously voted "dirtiest camper", somehow he leaves everyday looking like he just rolled in the dirt and no matter how hard I scrub his knees won't get clean. Next week it is Nature Camp and even Brayden is going...should be interesting and blog worthy.
